Neurofibromatosis Type 1

Hi everyone,
I am also going to use this to get the word out on Neurofibromatosis. Now what is that you are probaly wondering. this is a genetic condition. Neurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic neurological disorder that can affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves and skin. This is something i live with everyday. now what is it well its something that affects 1 in 3,000 to 4,000 people worldwide. still it is something that not many people know of and not many doctors know of.  there are different ways to tell if people have neurofibromatosis and there are two types. I'm going to talk about type 1 more then type 2 because type 1 is what i live with daily.
Im going to break this up to different information areas. at the end i will put links on where more  information can be found in the next blog entries. Thank you for reading and learning about this.
